Yes, I'd like to drive a genuine E-Type, and of course a true D-Type. And I don't know about you, but the late E-Type V12s just don't have the romantic beauty of the Series 1.

Ever the language barrier! In England we scoff when you call the E-Type an XKE! Both great cars tho, and the bark from that 6 is just awesome close up.

Thats an amazing car, I love how truely excited the host was. You could tell how much he loves Jags.
Amazing car, Such a work of art
Modern Jags are pretty awsome but nothing compares to a Mighty D

No disrespect, but the Pegaso 102 looked about as much like this car as a London bus does. Ricart was no doubt a brilliant guy but the car was nothing like this car in design, construction, appearance, performance or anything else I can think of. ( including competition success ) I'm sure there are pictures to be found on the internet for comparison.

Nice to see so many younger guys appreciate these cars. Incredible that you could buy one for the road there's very little around today that could better its performance. The 265hp cars would do 0 - 60 mph in 4.3 secs. Haven't seen official figures for 295hp engines but I have seen suggestions of under 4secs. The lister cars definitely have gone just under 4 sec I must say that the long nose cars such as this are definitely the pretty ones. Have to agree with most - one of THE great cars.

no i'm afraid it's a replica, but still sounds great nonetheless. I am working on a real 1964 XKE though.
