great sound, great car, great driver, if i owned one i would sell it to anybody, not for a billion pounds ))) I'd drive it nearly everywhere, imagine comng up to a porcshe in htat D type, the porcshe driver will feel like hes nothing =D

Great Bit of commentary here too. I shall be back at Silverstone for this years Classic meeting. I dream of one day being able to drive a Jaguar D type.
I recommend for any Jag enthusiast to read Touch Wood ! by The late Duncan Hamilton.
