Was pretty apprehensive about buying a Jaguar Diesel - but after driving the S Type 2.7d was converted! It's a great drive and strangely quiet at .... speeds.

I was absolutely in agreement with you before trying the S-Type 2.7d. Then I just bought it. Just a great car!!!
Next time I will try to drive a washing machine or an hoover, maybe one of those will be my next car ;-)

i wolud never do this because i don't like diesel engines,
...car with diesel engine don't have a soul and it's only machine like washing machine or hoover, but i must say diesel is very good for off-road cars
