I really do appreciate it. Jaguar Yokota could certainly be considered the Godmother of Joshi Puroresu. She was probably the best in the world for a number of years throughout the 80's, and not just the best of the females, but best worldwide. Her battles with the likes of Jackie Sato and Lioness Asuka are the stuff of legend. Yokota was an incredible innovator, and innovated a few of the moves that you'll see in this video. If that's not enough, her training brought us such Joshi stars as Manami Toyota, Toshiyo Yamada, Megumi Kudo, and Kyoko Inoue. "

Yea. Can;t touch Jaguar. Funny how in an interview Goldberg said he didnt care much for women's wrestling. Yet, his own finisher was invented by Miss Yokota. Gotta love the irony.

I had grown to respect Jaguar Yakota as a wrestler over the past few years. She is about as close to a legend as they come.

I have a few Japanese DVD's and the women's matches can be more violent than the guys matches. Kudos to the women, they are just badass. Tough as hell and still look beautiful
